As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people, all mentors will now be required to complete a short 15-minute Child Safety training video and successfully complete a short quiz before participating in workshops.

Thank you for your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of child safety. We look forward to seeing you in our upcoming workshops.

Before continuing with your registration, please watch the video and complete the quiz. To proceed, you'll need to achieve a score of at least 80%. If you don't achieve 80% on your first attempt, you can retake the quiz as many times as needed.

Reference Checks

Please provide the contact details (phone number and email address) for two referees. Where possible, choose referees who have observed you working or engaging with children and young people, as they will be best placed to comment on your suitability for the mentor role.

All New Zealand mentors must hold a valid NZ CV Check to mentor within LifeChanger programs and uphold our child safety standards.

Thanks to our partnership with the Cotton On Foundation, all CV Checks are fully funded for Cotton On mentors.
